I develop detailed estimates and resource plans for mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning, defining manpower levels, durations and craft support. This includes equipment- and subsystem-based man-hour estimates, milestone allocation, progress weightings and vendor, subcontractor and equipment requirements.
At commissioning-management level, I held responsibility for completions across Lamprell projects, combining direct project leadership with central oversight. This covered systemisation, inspection and test records (ITRs), method statements, planning, completion-management systems (CMS/PIMS), punch control and turnover documentation.

My earlier Lamprell responsibilities included maintaining plant and vehicle fleets covering cranes, forklifts, buses, pickups, fire pumps and compressors. I also managed annual inspection and certification programmes for lifting equipment and accessories.

I take management responsibility from strategy, procedures and readiness through multidisciplinary testing, safe energisation, start-up, performance verification, punch closure and handover. I coordinate people, resources and interfaces, including factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), pre-start-up safety reviews (PSSR) and sea trials.

I lead practical investigation of faults and failed tests, working with engineering, field teams and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to establish causes, implement corrective action and verify performance before acceptance. My experience also includes post-delivery defect resolution and warranty recovery.

I carry lessons from testing, defects and handover into subsequent project planning, procedures and execution. Repeat-unit commissioning leadership on the NDC/ADNOC Super 116E programme gave me opportunities to apply that experience across successive builds.

I assess technical and execution risks, challenge readiness assumptions and establish prerequisites, responsibilities and controls before testing, energisation, start-up or handover. This connects early planning with construction interfaces, simultaneous operations, vendor and subcontractor suitability, and third-party inspection and certification requirements.

I plan resources, set priorities, assign ownership and direct multidisciplinary teams, resolving constraints and keeping disciplines aligned across construction and commissioning. My experience includes overseas Site Manager, Project Manager and Load-Out Authority appointments alongside commissioning leadership.
I coordinate OEMs, specialist contractors, clients and classification societies around mobilisation, technical resolution, testing, witness requirements, certification evidence and final acceptance. I define specialist support and acceptance requirements early enough to protect delivery.
