Selected project experience

Commissioning and site-management roles across Lamprell’s four-country foundation delivery scope in the UAE, China, the UK and the Netherlands. Responsibilities included transition-piece commissioning in the UAE, pile fabrication and load-out at PCK Steel Pipe in Zhuhai, and Site Manager leadership in Vlissingen for transition-piece-to-jacket assembly and the load-out of completed jackets and piles.

Led systems completion and commissioning for the EDC Mercury new-build jack-up at Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association (ASPO). The role covered PIMS/CMS governance, multidisciplinary testing, Astrakhan operations including load-out, rig moves, jacking trials and cantilever installation, vendor mobilisation, client and Class coordination, launch readiness and controlled handover for Caspian delivery.

Led systems completion and commissioning for the EDC Neptune new-build jack-up at Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association (ASPO). The role covered PIMS/CMS governance, multidisciplinary testing, Astrakhan operations including load-out, rig moves, jacking trials and cantilever installation, vendor mobilisation, client and Class coordination, launch readiness, controlled Caspian delivery and offshore start-up in Turkmenistan.

Held full completions and commissioning responsibility for Seajacks Zaratan, a DP2 self-elevating wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV) fitted with a large offshore construction crane. The scope integrated marine, power, control, jacking and lifting systems through coordinated vendor testing, punch closure and operational handover.

Commissioning responsibility in Rijeka focused on recovery of the new Caterpillar generator installation, including start-up, load sharing and voltage stability, together with ABS five-year class readiness for tow to Constanța. Project-management responsibility in Romania then covered further refurbishment and conversion work, including the skidding system, jack-up legs and accommodation.

Repeat-unit commissioning leadership across successive Super 116E new-build jack-ups for National Drilling Company, now ADNOC Drilling. The programme applied consistent systemisation, completions governance, commissioning planning, vendor coordination, integrated testing, readiness and punch-closure controls, with lessons carried forward from one unit to the next.
